Wealdstone boss Gary Waddock says he couldn’t resist a crack at a No.1’s job again.
The Stones have turned to the former Conference title-winning manager after the surprise axing of Sam Cox.
Waddock, who guided Aldershot Town to the Football League in 2008, watched on from the stands yesterday as they beat Kidderminster on penalties to reach the Isuzu FA Trophy semi-finals.
The 63-year-old leaves his role as Walsall assistant manager to take on the job and he’s excited for what lies ahead.
