I READ with interest Andrew Wilcock’s letter regarding clubs who play on all-weather pitches (Fans’ Forum, February 22).
There is one, a few miles along the M25 from his Fareham base, at AFC Stoneham.
Perhaps the board at Fareham Town FC should meet up with their local council to discuss installing a 3G pitch at their Cams Alders ground to alleviate the problem?
Ironically, Fareham Town’s previous ground was situated in Bath Lane.
