BASINGSTOKE TOWN have sent centre-back Ross Adams on loan to his former club Chippenham Town.
Adams joined the Dragons from Chippenham in May 2010 and went on to win the Players' Player of the Year award in his first season at the Camrose.
He was handed the captaincy ahead of the 2011/12 season but broke his leg just weeks into the campaign and was sidelined for five months.
Injury struck again at the back end of last term, with the 30-year-old damaging his knee, and he has featured on just five occasion in 2013/14.
He's now joined Chippenham, who compete in the Southern League Premier Division, for a month and will be in their squad for Saturday's game at home to high-fliers Chesham United.
