■A GOOD performance by Witham Town put them into the next round of the FA Cup with two excellently taken goals away at Canvey Island.
The first came after 21 minutes when Tyler Corlett headed into the roof of the net.
And that is how the game stayed as Witham took a slender lead into the halftime interval.
Visitors Witham struggled a little bit in the second half and at times their goal led a charmed life as Canvey Island looked to level proceedings.
