BLUES TRIUMPH IN GOAL THRILLER

LEISTON progressed to the next round of the FA Cup with 4-2 victory against Crowborough.
Joe Jefford opened the scoring with a header from Byron Lawrence’s corner.
Shortly after good play between Lawrence and Chris Henderson teed up Christy Finch who finished low in the corner.
Henderson made it three before half time.
Reece Connoly curled a super goal past Mark Garnham to reduce the deficit.
But Finch’s goal killed the game off in the closing stages and snuffed out any chance of a late comeback.
