DICKSON SECURES CLARETS PASSAGE

CHELMSFORD City held off late pressure from Weymouth to reach the FA Cup fourth round qualifying.
The Clarets dominated the early stages in possession and chance creation, coming closest through Chris Dickson. The experienced striker curled a superb shot goalbound but an equally impressive save from Mark Travers denied the frontman.
The Terras’ shot-stopper made another great save 20 minutes into the half as another direct effort from Dickson was tipped over superbly to deny the National League South side.
