GUISELEY were made to work hard before they progressed to the first round by seeing off Stourbridge.
There may have been a division between the sides but Stourbridge came into this game in good form and having defeated two National League North teams in previous FA Cup rounds.
The visitors made a bright start yet Guiseley took the lead thanks to Will Thornton’s header after he was found by Alex Purver’s cross and finished calmly.
