TURNER’S TREBLE IN A RIDGE ROUT

A PAUL Turner hattrick helped fire Longridge through to the preliminary round of the FA Cup.
And much of the damage was done in a scintillating first half that saw the home side cruise into a 5-1 interval lead.
Amazingly it was the visitors who drew first blood as Richard Seear steered them into a 12th minute lead.
But it was all square on 25 minutes as Turner tucked away his first of the game before Dan Birch curled an effort into the top corner ten minutes later.
