DEFENDER Carl Sibson’s 36th-minute strike earned Dynamo safe passage into the second qualifying round.
Sibson slammed past Stuart Parsons from close range after the goalkeeper had parried a shot from Curtis Burrows.
The breakthrough came slightly against the run of play after Heather, one step lower in the pyramid, had made the brighter start.
But Dynamo were in control of a scrappy second half in which both sides struggled to create chances.
