A LOOK at the scoreline suggests this was one-way traffic for National League North Boston United but it doesn’t tell the full story.
Craig Elliott’s side pretty much dominated the opening 45 minutes but Carshalton Athletic weren’t going to go down without a fight.
They pulled a goal back but ultimately it was a bridge too far and the Pilgrims showed why they are among the fancied sides for promotion in their strong division.
Both teams played their part in an entertaining cup tie.
