BISHOP’S Stortford progressed to the FA Cup third qualifying round for the first time in seven years as Ryan Henshaw scored his second goal in three games to beat Brentwood Town.
After a first half of few chances, it was the hosts who started the brighter after the break, forcing Preston Edwards into a number of good saves.
Half-time substitutes Aaron Greene and Darren Foxley changed the game, threatening in wide areas and it was Greene’s cross from the left which led to the only goal - Frankie Merrifield’s header turn...
