HORNCHURCH booked their progress with a quick-fire double.
Mark Stimson’s side found the net twice in the opening 14 minutes and despite the best efforts of Walthamstow, who went down to ten men, they were deserved winners.
Hornchurch were ahead inside three minutes when captain Lewis Spence’s free kick went round the wall and skipped low into the net.
The lead was doubled on 14 when Jordan Clark’s excellent pass was tapped in by Ellis Brown. The home freeside’s task became even harder just a few minutes later when Vinny Murphy was shown red for handbal...
