LEE ASHCROFT knows all about making FA Cup memories - now he’s steering Longridge Town to new dizzy heights.
Ashcroft made over 350 Football League appearances for the likes of Preston North End, West Bromwich Albion, Grimsby Town and Wigan Athletic before taking over the managerial reigns at the likes of Kendal Town and Northwich Victoria.
Now, however, he is back living the dream with the Lancashire side in only the club’s second ever FA Cup campaign.
