CEDRIC Main struck 12 minutes from time to earn a battling FC United a replay on Tuesday night after captain JJ O’Donnell had given hosts Blyth a 35th-minute lead.
Brad Holmes and Main led a brave assault from the NPL Premier division side and missed good chances early on – Holmes dragging his shot wide of the far post.
Regan Linney’s shot was then blocked by Spartans defender Toby Lees.
