CURZON ASHTON avoided an FA Cup banana skin as they cruised to victory against a plucky Stockton Town, of the NPL East division.
All four goals came in the opening 25 minutes as the Nash showed mercy on their Step 4 opponents – and this without main striker Dominic Knowles, who started from the bench.
National League North Curzon took less than two minutes to break the deadlock. A corner found Harry Flowers at the back post, his header was cleared off the line and Alex Curran squeezed the ball home.
