■ CLEETHORPES put in an outstanding display to deservedly oust National North outfit Alfreton Town.
The home side played the better football in the first period. Josh Batty went closest, firing into the side-netting from an acute angle.
After the break, Cleethorpes stepped up a gear to break the deadlock in the 50th minute.
Brody Robertson finished a fast paced move from close range. The pressure continued on the visitors and Robertson missed a golden chance, hitting over the bar.
