PETERBOROUGH Sports edged an eight-goal thriller. They took the lead after eight minutes when a shot from Dan Jarvis took a deflection and wrongfooted the Rovers keeper.
The Turbines doubled their lead after 14 minutes thanks to an own goal.
Charlie Morris gave Rovers hope with a header just before half-time.
The hosts scored just three minutes into the second-half with a close range header at the far post from Mitchell Gilbey.
