■ HAMPTON survived a first-half battering to slip back across the Thames with a passage into the next round.
Casuals supporters watched their team dominate but fail to put away any of their chances. That came back to haunt them after the break as Hampton reorganised and saw out the game.
Jorome Slew put the Beavers ahead in first-half added time, converting a Charlie Wassmer header at the second attempt.
The game was still in the balance until the 70th minute when a Casuals slip allowed David Fisher to capitalise with the second goal.
