MORPETH TOWN kept their FA Cup first round dreams alive after forcing York City to a replay.
The Highwaymen visited the LNER Community Stadium as underdogs, having matched their 1998-99 record Cup run – progressing from the first round qualifying.
But the Minstermen were in no mood for a banana skin, as Harrogate loanee Mark Beck opened the scoring on 26 minutes, making no mistake with a trademark header starting with a free kick curled in by Mackenzie Heaney.
