CONGLETON TOWN upset Nantwich Town at the Swansway Stadium to ease into the next round.
Both teams struck the woodwork in the first half. Daniel Needham hit a post for Congleton in a passage of play that also saw an effort cleared off the line.
Dan Cockerline smacked the crossbar after being well found by Joe Mwasile for Nantwich — at this point it was hard to believe the game was still goalless.
