SUBSTITUTE Michael Woods’ sensational late double saw South Shields progress to the next round after seeing off a determined Workington side in a pulsating tie.
Goals from Reds’ Lewis Reilly and Shields’ Martin Smith sent the two sides in level. After the interval Dan Wordsworth thought he had won the tie for the visitors before Woods’ late heroics broke Cumbrian hearts.
