■Stannington will have to CLITHEROE and Heaton do it all again on Wednesday.
Clitheroe huffed and puffed for much of the first half without a real cutting edge, but took the lead after 22 minutes when Danny Wilkins floated in a deep free-kick for Billy Priestley to send his header looping over the keeper.
In the second half, Stan started to believe more in themselves and it was no surprise when Andrew Burn latched on to a high bouncing ball and expertly slid it past Clitheroe keeper Chris Thompson.
