■ PAULTON came through this tie in a hard-fought
and at times scrappy game. Royal Wootton Bassett went ahead after 23 minutes as Neil Martin was judged to have fouled Matt Bennett. Chris Taylor’s spot-kick was parried by Aaron Sainsbury and Tom Ouldridge followed up to score.
Four minutes later Paulton levelled as Kyle Tooze’s pass was driven home by Ed Butcher.
