ST IVES made history as for the first time in the club’s 135-year history they advanced to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup with a deserved win over a Chasetown side with an excellent cup pedigree. The hosts could not have asked for a better start as leading scorer Jonny Edwards turned home Myles Cowling’s low cross inside the first 20 seconds.
