CANVEY ISLAND cruised into the 2nd Qualifying round of the FA Cup with an impressive 5-1 victory over Isthmian League North side Lowestoft Town at the Moviestarr Stadium.
Both sides created chances in the first two minutes. Rob Girdlestone’s header came off of the crossbar for Canvey, and Sam Jackson saved a low shot from Lowestoft’s Owen Murphy.
