THE HAWKS left it late to come out on top but did so emphatically at Westleigh Park.
Hawks dominated, but the Oxfordshire visitors always posed a threat on the counter, with Calen Isaac pulling the strings at the heart of the attack.
A number of chances came and went for the Hawks – Alex Pratt in the Wallingford goal also denied them.
It was level at the break, after which Havant continued to probe and were twice denied by Pratt. Debutant Keane Anderson was denied by the woodwork.
