■ 1874 continued their great early-season form to progress at Townfield.
The visitors grabbed an early lead, home keeper Shorthouse’s clearance hit the backside of a Stocksbridge forward to give them a freak opener.
’74 hit back shortly after, Jack McKean was hacked down after robbing possession, Scott McGowan stepped up to fire home in to the bottom-right corner.
The home side completed the turnaround as Liam Fitzpatrick hammered home.
