■ MATLOCK progressed to the next round with a comfortable home win over step-five opponents Bottesford.
Having controlled the early stages, the Gladiators went in front midway through the first half as Cameron Wilson fired home after a good move.
But Bottesford levelled things before the break when Jack McMenemy netted from close range.
