TWO second-half goals from sub Luca Navarro saw Ashton home to a famous victory against the team currently third in the National League North. A sunny day following heavy rain left a perfect surface at Hurst Cross and the visitors made the sharper start as Harry Green wriggled between two defenders and saw his pass to Alex Wiles sidefooted just past the far post.
Michael Duckworth’s inside pass then saw Dom Tear shoot straight at Jordan Eastham and Sam Baird crowded out Walker after a turn of pace from Green. Walker then voll...
