A STRONG last 25 minutes proved decisive for Royston as they saw off the challenge of table-topping Brentwood Town to progress to the next round.
The tie started in a lively fashion with Kymani Thomas firing over as early as the third minute. Royston responded positively to this and felt aggrieved not to be awarded a penalty, as Adam Murray latched onto Harvey Beckett’s though ball and looked to be pushed to the floor as he was about to pull the trigger, but the challenge was deemed to be fair.
