WIMBORNE TOWN overcame the tough test of National League South outfit Bath City to emerge victorious.
The visitors started the brighter of the two sides, testing Cam Plain early on, however it was Will Fletcher who had the first big opportunity of the game, but the keeper did well to deny him one-on-one.
Wimborne grabbed the first goal of the game in the 25th minute after a fantastic Drew Eccott-Young cross found the head of Josh McQuoid who nodded the ball into the back of the Bath net.
