The full broadcast schedule for the 2025-26 Emirates FA Cup Third Round Proper has now been confirmed – and there is live exposure for one of the remaining Non-League hopefuls.

Weston-super-Mare’s remarkable cup adventure steps into the spotlight after broadcasters selected their trip to Grimsby Town for live coverage.

It represents a major moment for the National League South side, who will look to make further history against Football League opposition.

Scott Rogers’ side will also benefit from a significant financial boost thanks to the broadcast selection.

FA Cup broadcast details

Streaming service discovery+ will show Weston-super-Mare’s tie with Grimsby live on Saturday 10 January, with kick-off at 5.45pm.

The only other Non-League club left in the competition, Boreham Wood, will not feature on television this time around.

Luke Garrard’s side host Burton Albion in a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, as they aim to book a place in the Fourth Round Proper without the cameras present.

Prize money

All Third Round Proper clubs receive guaranteed prize money, but those selected for live television gain an additional financial lift.

Clubs involved in linear TV broadcasts receive £80,000, while matches streamed exclusively on discovery+ earn £40,000 – a valuable injection of funds for clubs outside the EFL.

The Fourth Round draw will take place live on TNT Sports ahead of the Monday 12 January 2026 evening kick-off of Liverpool vs Barnsley, with ties scheduled for the weekend of 14–15 February 2026.
