■JUST when it seemed that this tie would go to a replay, Thame’s Dan West took advantage of a keeper’s error to send his side to the next round.
Defences were always in control, but the visitors had the best of a first-half as West, Luke Ricketts and Ben Connelly all went close in the early stages.
The second half saw an almighty goalmouth scramble, just needing a clear shot at goal, but no home player obliged.
