■BELPER Town’s involvement in the FA Trophy came to an abrupt end when they lost to Alvechurch by the odd goal in three.
Daniel Dubidat put the visitors ahead on 23 minutes with shot across goal inside the far post.
Tom Turton lashed in a second on 31 minutes and Alvechurch were on top until the Nailers won a penalty in the 34th minute, after Jamie Ashmore handled in the penalty area.
Kieran O’Connell slotted the spot kick into the net comfortably.
Defender John Guy was red carded for a foul on Josh March to put the match beyond the hosts.
