■CHASETOWN progressed in the FA Trophy but didn’t score as many goals as their pressure suggested.
The Scholars deservedly took the lead in the 15th minute. Degville’s cross from the right was brilliantly headed off the underside of the crossbar by Muzzy Nduna.
Ryan Wynter was denied a second goal at the start of the second half with Rawlins flicking his effort from 18 yards over the bar.
George Cater hit the post as he has hit the woodwork for the sixth time in three games…
With just minutes to go Jake Lovatt burst through the defence and scored.
