SAINTS DON’T GO MARCHING ON

BURY Town looked to be going out of the FA Trophy, only for a late own goal forcing a replay.
Injury-hit Bury struggled in the first half to trouble visiting keeper Carl Dennison, and Chalfont had the better chances, but poor finishing meant the game was goalless at the break.
In the second half again it was Chalfont making the better attacking chances and on 65 minutes a mistimed tackle from Bury’s Kyran Clements in the box saw the defender sent off with a straight red and Chalfont awarded a penalty.
