TEENAGE super-sub David Smith kept Sittingbourne in the FA Trophy with a stunning late equaliser.
And he almost won it too, his 25-yarder in the third minute of added time bouncing back off the bar.
Merstham, who play in a division higher than Sittingbourne, took the lead after 15 minutes when Ryan Hall slid the ball through for Richard Pingling to comfortably convert.
Sittingbourne fought back well in the second half and Bola Dawodu went close to levelling only for keeper Chris Haigh to save with his knee.
