THE Peacocks knocked out their higher-ranked visitors to progress to the next round of the FA Trophy.
The hosts grabbed an early lead after ten minutes when Ben Adelsbury’s freekick was parried by Oliver Davies but Dan Sullivan was onto the rebound and his cross was headed home by Matt Wright.
Taunton had a let off seconds before half-time when Stuart Fleetwood hit the bar from close range.
And Adelsbury doubled the Peacocks’ lead on 54 minutes, scoring a penalty after Kerry Morgan handled Pierce Mitchell’s cross in the box.
