■WORKINGTON rode a first-half storm to knock a valiant Chasetown side out of the Buildbase FA Trophy. The hosts started brightly but Workington took the lead after a corner ricocheted in the box, with the final touch credited as a Ryan Wynter own goal.
The Reds increased their lead with Samuel Joel netting with a strike from the corner of the penalty area. Joel broke clear and slotted past Curtis Pond in the 80th minute for his second of the day - and there was still time for substitute George Cater to get a consolation three minutes from time.
