ST ALBANS took the lead in the 38th minute when Shaun Lucien was brought down in the box. Captain David Noble stepped up and placed the spot-kick to the keeper’s right.
However, Poole were level within three minutes, again through a penalty. The referee pointed to the spot after a handball by Tariq Moore- Azille. Steve Devlin stepped up and put it in the same corner as Noble had done.
St Albans re-took the lead when Rhys Murrell- Williamson cut in from the right in the 71st minute and curled a scintillating effort into the bottom corner.
