HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS nearly caused an upset against the third-placed team in National League South, but deep in added time, 16-year-old Dylan Randall struck a fairytale finish for his first senior goal to send this first round tie to a replay at Heybridge.
Hampton started on the front foot, with Max Kretzschmar’s firstminute shot going wide.
The home team continued to stay in control as the Swifts settled into repelling the Beavers’ best efforts, Swifts keeper Danny Sambridge having to make at least five or six good saves.
