AN ANDY HALLS spotkick in a tense penalty shoot-out earned Chester victory after a pulsating Christmas cracker at the Deva Stadium yesterday.
The match ebbed and flowed from start to finish, and those supporters who stayed away missed a thrill-packed clash.
Ross Hannah gave Chester the lead after 51 minutes and with time running out sub Serhat Tasdemir took advantage of a lapse to send the tie to extra-time.
