SACKED: Darren Byfield

DARREN Byfield admitted being sacked as Redditch United manager had come as no surprise and insisted chairman Chris Swan had “unrealistic expectations”.
Swan dismissed Byfield as Reds’ players and management left the pitch having fought back from two down with eight minutes to go to draw 2-2 with St Neots Town yesterday.
United had started well in the Evo-Stik South Premier this term before one win in 10 league outings saw them drift into midtable.
