Blues take a Leek

CLASSY Workington easily beat a below-par Leek Town to progress to the next round of the FA Trophy on a freezing day at Harrison Park.
The Reds got off to the ideal start as Daniel Wordsworth put them ahead in the fourth minute with a towering header from a corner, but the Blues hit back soon after as Tim Grice fi nished from eight yards following a low cross from the right.
The game remained tight up to half-time with Workington having most of the possession but unable to fashion any clear-cut chances while Leek looked to hit on the break.
