DAN BENNETT’S 87th-minute strike gave Kingstonian a place in the competition proper, a rare appearance in recent years.
Ks created chances almost at will but in the end overcame an insanely determined Sudbury defensive display by inches.
Jerry Puelmo headed Kenny Beaney’s corner against the bar and the referee’s assistant indicated that Bennett’s follow- up just crossed the line.
Ks dominated early on but keeper Paul Walker looked unbeatable.
