■DESPITE being reduced to ten men, Spennymoor cruised to an easy win in their friendly at Bridlington.
The Moors opened the scoring when Jamie Spencer’s great ball picked out Glen Taylor, who found the back of the net. But they were reduced to ten men after just five minutes when Spencer was sent off following a tangle with Andy Norfolk. A trialist’s header doubled the Moors’ lead after Taylor’s free-kick was well saved.
