■A 39TH-MINUTE Danny Forbes strike was the only goal of the game as Bamber Bridge recorded a 1-0 victory over National League North outfit Farsley Celtic.
Brig had the first chance, Callum King-Harmes forcing a block from defender Tom Allan. Home keeper Danny Roccia, who made several key stops throughout, made an excellent save to deny Jimmy Spencer’s close range header, before the Farsley striker shot well over a few minutes later. Forbes gave Brig the lead when he finished calmly past Steve Drench.
