RUNCORN LINNETS 0
TWO goals in the minutes before half-time saw Kidsgrove complete their pre-season with a 3-0 win over Runcorn Linnets. It took until the 44th minute for a goal, when Anthony Malbon squared the ball to Ruben Wiggins-Thomas, who had a simple tap-in.
Then just as everyone expected half-time, Oliver Hickman was able to win a flick on to allow Malbon to break through and poke the ball past Ryan Nield. The final goal came on the hour when Kyle Diskin pinged in a fantastic cross for Wiggins-Thomas to score with a diving header.
