BIDEFORD nearly made the perfect start when Joe Charles was fouled in the box but Ryan Turner’s resulting penalty was saved by Lewis Adams.
However, they didn’t have to wait long to take the lead when Toby Down headed home from a corner in the eighth minute. Six minutes later it was all square after Slimbridge broke free and Jay Malshanki scored.
