CHIPSTEAD fell at their first hurdle, as Three Bridges won by the odd goal in three to progress. Chips had battled gallantly in the FA Cup midweek, before succombing to Hayes & Yeading on penalties.
Yesterday they couldn’t find the same creativity and it was the visitors who took control in the 19th minute, as midfielder Brannon O’Neill burst through the home backline and put his deflected shot past keeper Oliver Pain.
